third shift kills the sleep schedule

kenzie is at school

maddie is with your kids on a ferry boat with grammy (aka yaya)

ryan is around here somewhere stressing about his pending surgery...

and i am just thinking about how much trouble i am in for not blogging like i should...

i will get better.... i just have to figure out the schedule a little more...

maybe i can do that while i am lifing weights at work tonight...

yes, lifting weights... yes, i work out... yes at work...

you see, while i am at work, i work out in the pt gym which is accross from my desk while awaiting the phone to ring... it is close enough that i can get at it if it ever rings... (very rare at 3 am)

trying to get in shape to kick some "honey homicide" butt when you get in the roller derby kiddo! LOL...

MEMORY FULL....

So,after not falling asleep until well after 2am this morning, I got up at 8, and got the kids ready, packed the van and we were off to Mom's for Maddie's party.... So, I made sure I didn't forget my camera. That was a major thing... so, we get there and the castle jump was already there. The girls went and got in it right away, I started taking pics. After just 5 pictures, a screen says, Memory Full. I had forgotten my memory card. And since I had to go to walmart for mom anyway, I got a disposable camera to do the party with. So, no pics til I get them developed and then I have to scan them to the desktop so I can then download them here... Long process but you will like the pics (i think). Anyway, I am off. TTYL! Dawn

Workout #27

So, here's the challenge. And above, you can see my entry. Kenzie had done crosswords or circle a words (I can't remember) with Gigi and I snapped a pic of her doing it. I absolutely love the design of the sketch we were supposed to use for this lo. It allows for a simple, yet stunning layout. It allows room for journaling as you can see that I added as well as plenty of negative space! And the breakdown goes like this, picture was taken from my collection, background paper was from k and company the best of k and company pad, the circles were literally just picked out of my scrap box. I didn't even look at the papers, i just did a random pick. the lettering was taken from an old sheet of alphas i had and I think they worked out great!!! Simple yet Stunning! Thank you Scrap Fit for the challenge.
