Happy Birthday Mommy!

Happy birthday to me! Yes, today is my birthday. I am another year older today. I noticed today Madison who is only 10 months old, was jumping in her bed as if she were using it as a trampoline. She has four teeth. She is so close to walking the babe can taste it. Kenzie on the other hand is such an angel today. She was really good for me. I went to class tonight and shortly into it, the store came back and said that my husband was on the phone, he was calling to tell me to find someone who could run me home from class because the car was acting up yet again. Nice birthday present... I really was upset, but I firmly believe that God has a plan, so all of you please pray for us about our car! Thanks everyone!

MEMORY FULL....

So,after not falling asleep until well after 2am this morning, I got up at 8, and got the kids ready, packed the van and we were off to Mom's for Maddie's party.... So, I made sure I didn't forget my camera. That was a major thing... so, we get there and the castle jump was already there. The girls went and got in it right away, I started taking pics. After just 5 pictures, a screen says, Memory Full. I had forgotten my memory card. And since I had to go to walmart for mom anyway, I got a disposable camera to do the party with. So, no pics til I get them developed and then I have to scan them to the desktop so I can then download them here... Long process but you will like the pics (i think). Anyway, I am off. TTYL! Dawn

Workout #27

So, here's the challenge. And above, you can see my entry. Kenzie had done crosswords or circle a words (I can't remember) with Gigi and I snapped a pic of her doing it. I absolutely love the design of the sketch we were supposed to use for this lo. It allows for a simple, yet stunning layout. It allows room for journaling as you can see that I added as well as plenty of negative space! And the breakdown goes like this, picture was taken from my collection, background paper was from k and company the best of k and company pad, the circles were literally just picked out of my scrap box. I didn't even look at the papers, i just did a random pick. the lettering was taken from an old sheet of alphas i had and I think they worked out great!!! Simple yet Stunning! Thank you Scrap Fit for the challenge.
