Get Well Soon Jack

A good friend of the family is in the hospital again. He lives in Florida and has been like an uncle to all of us for years. Jack went into the hospital this week. He had blood clots in both of his legs so bad that they had to remove them yesterday. It is a tragic thing to have happen, but they had to do this in order to save his life. The doctor came in yesterday and said that they were surprised that he lived through the night because he was so toxic. So I am asking for all of your prayers for his speedy recovery. I can't imagine him with no legs. But that will just have to be an adjustment for all of us to make. I guess I will have to make a trip to Plant City as soon as we get back to Florida to visit with Jack and with Beverly.

Other things:
Day two of six begins tonight at 10 pm... Kenzieis being a 5 year old today... She is a little defiant, but all in all, she is being a child.... Maddie has just been hanging out... doing her own thing... Ryan is working until 6pm tonight.... I haven't had much sleep, but that is life... I really need to find a way to get some more sleep... I am just always exhausted... Anyway, I am off for a while...

MEMORY FULL....

So,after not falling asleep until well after 2am this morning, I got up at 8, and got the kids ready, packed the van and we were off to Mom's for Maddie's party.... So, I made sure I didn't forget my camera. That was a major thing... so, we get there and the castle jump was already there. The girls went and got in it right away, I started taking pics. After just 5 pictures, a screen says, Memory Full. I had forgotten my memory card. And since I had to go to walmart for mom anyway, I got a disposable camera to do the party with. So, no pics til I get them developed and then I have to scan them to the desktop so I can then download them here... Long process but you will like the pics (i think). Anyway, I am off. TTYL! Dawn

Workout #27

So, here's the challenge. And above, you can see my entry. Kenzie had done crosswords or circle a words (I can't remember) with Gigi and I snapped a pic of her doing it. I absolutely love the design of the sketch we were supposed to use for this lo. It allows for a simple, yet stunning layout. It allows room for journaling as you can see that I added as well as plenty of negative space! And the breakdown goes like this, picture was taken from my collection, background paper was from k and company the best of k and company pad, the circles were literally just picked out of my scrap box. I didn't even look at the papers, i just did a random pick. the lettering was taken from an old sheet of alphas i had and I think they worked out great!!! Simple yet Stunning! Thank you Scrap Fit for the challenge.
