Quickly, before the outage.

Today was a blah day. I will make this quick as I see the scheduled outage. Kenzie went to school. And had a great day. Ryan had a good day at work. His knee is still hurting from the other night when he got hurt as we were playing outside with Kenzie. Maddie learned that she loves cereal bars today. I break them up real small for her and she loves them. I made a Spiderman cake tonight. I already have a pic of it on the blog, so I will not be doing that one again. I guess that is all that happened today. I will post again if I think of anything. Lots of love!

    I hope Ryan's knee gets better (knee brace, Ace bandages makes a great one) Maddie seems to be enjoting those chompers! I know Kenzie loved playing ball! I liked your last Spidey cake better then your first. We will have to get one for Chris!

MEMORY FULL....

So,after not falling asleep until well after 2am this morning, I got up at 8, and got the kids ready, packed the van and we were off to Mom's for Maddie's party.... So, I made sure I didn't forget my camera. That was a major thing... so, we get there and the castle jump was already there. The girls went and got in it right away, I started taking pics. After just 5 pictures, a screen says, Memory Full. I had forgotten my memory card. And since I had to go to walmart for mom anyway, I got a disposable camera to do the party with. So, no pics til I get them developed and then I have to scan them to the desktop so I can then download them here... Long process but you will like the pics (i think). Anyway, I am off. TTYL! Dawn

Workout #27

So, here's the challenge. And above, you can see my entry. Kenzie had done crosswords or circle a words (I can't remember) with Gigi and I snapped a pic of her doing it. I absolutely love the design of the sketch we were supposed to use for this lo. It allows for a simple, yet stunning layout. It allows room for journaling as you can see that I added as well as plenty of negative space! And the breakdown goes like this, picture was taken from my collection, background paper was from k and company the best of k and company pad, the circles were literally just picked out of my scrap box. I didn't even look at the papers, i just did a random pick. the lettering was taken from an old sheet of alphas i had and I think they worked out great!!! Simple yet Stunning! Thank you Scrap Fit for the challenge.
