hmmm.. not sure what to title this

so, since the last post here, maddie has turned 6!!!  and we are having her birthday party tomorrow.  we are taking her to the beach because that's what she wants.  and doing a barbie party.  while she doesn't know what her cake looks like, i am sure she will love it!

we found out we can take over this house and not have to move so that's good.  the better news is that we will have only power to pay.  before we were paying 10 less plus water and power, cable etc.  so that will be a breather.  it's a large house, yes it needs work, but all houses need work to become homes.  i can't wait to get started personalizing this house into our home (even if it is temporary).

now onto other things, not sure why, but i am feelign kind of akward when i go to the mommy group here as of lately because all of those mommy's have babies or toddlers, and my kids are school age.  not to mention it almost feels like i am not wanted sometimes.  i mean, i plan events with them and then all of a sudden the events have to be handed over to this one or that one. or they are changed totally.  it just makes me feel really unwanted.  i do think that the next meet which is the last for the year will be my last time traveling down to holiday for it.  i think i would rather figure out a way to find some mom's in the girls ages to start my own mommy group with even if it is just going to the park for the kids to play while we momma's hang out.  i have one friend with a son the age of kenzie, and her niece has a son the age of maddie so maybe we can start working on that together... just feeling really left out.  it's like most of my friends are only friends when it's convenient for THEM.  and that's not what friendship is supposed to be.

and that's my vent for now.

Wow, tons goign on since last post

So, there have been tons of things going on since I last posted here.  I've had the net just not time to post.  Basically, the kids and school, the wedding, photography, and Ryan's job has prevented me from getting on here.  He's been in Pennsylvania, Miami, Home, Nashville, and other cities as well.  While we love that he has a great job, it's just hard to accept that he isn't home much anymore.  Maddie is having the hardest time with adapting to having her daddy gone.

I have become a Thirty-One Consultant, and am loving it!  More details to come on that one, but in other news, I am putting my photography on the back burner until we get moved and settled in.  I would love to do it full time but I just have to cut something and right now it has to be that.  I have 4 parties scheduled for this month and am really working hard to keep my schedule full.

I have one recruit to get signed up this month and am hoping to have a second one as well, but that will all be left in the hands of God.

Now, more about Thirty-One, for those of you who know that I am now a Consultant, many of you are asking, "What is 31?"  I want to take the time to tell you a little about my company.  Thirty-One is a faith based company which sells purses, totes, thermals, and accessories.  I love the products I have right now, but we will get into that later.  This company believes in Celebrating, Encouraging, and Rewarding Women.  It was founded on the passage from the bible Proverbs 31.  It talks about what a virtuous wife is.  She works and still provides for her family.  She loves her family and loves to provide for that family.  A virtuous wife is my goal.  As a Thirty-One Consultant, I get the question of, is it really worth it.  In my opionion, YES!  While it took a long time for me to go on and become a consultant, it just wasn't the right time for me.  I have been doing this for just a week and a half, and God has blessed me so much!  As I mentioned earlier, I have four parties already scheduled for the month, and am hoping to do the same next month.  My goal right now is to just assist with providing all of our bills for one month!  It would be nice to just do that and not have to depend on my Husband for that for a month.  Now on to the products I have:

I have a skirt purse!  I love that I can take that skirt off and just carry my brown purse, or I can add a little flare by having the skirt on it.  Not to mention the versatility of having the choice of many different patterns to choose from!  In addition to that I have a hang tag that coordinates with my skirt for my purse very nicely.

I also have a large utility tote, organizing utility tote, 3 thermal's, one picknic thermal, a lil's carry all, an extend a tote bag, large zipper pouch, key fob, and wristlet wallet.  I have used all of these multiple times so far and can't find a reason not to like them!  I can't wait to get enough of the large utility totes to have three in each of our closets!

This has been and amazing journey so far and I pray that my journey goes on for many years to come!  If you would like more information, you can see my website:
