Wow, tons goign on since last post

So, there have been tons of things going on since I last posted here.  I've had the net just not time to post.  Basically, the kids and school, the wedding, photography, and Ryan's job has prevented me from getting on here.  He's been in Pennsylvania, Miami, Home, Nashville, and other cities as well.  While we love that he has a great job, it's just hard to accept that he isn't home much anymore.  Maddie is having the hardest time with adapting to having her daddy gone.

I have become a Thirty-One Consultant, and am loving it!  More details to come on that one, but in other news, I am putting my photography on the back burner until we get moved and settled in.  I would love to do it full time but I just have to cut something and right now it has to be that.  I have 4 parties scheduled for this month and am really working hard to keep my schedule full.

I have one recruit to get signed up this month and am hoping to have a second one as well, but that will all be left in the hands of God.

Now, more about Thirty-One, for those of you who know that I am now a Consultant, many of you are asking, "What is 31?"  I want to take the time to tell you a little about my company.  Thirty-One is a faith based company which sells purses, totes, thermals, and accessories.  I love the products I have right now, but we will get into that later.  This company believes in Celebrating, Encouraging, and Rewarding Women.  It was founded on the passage from the bible Proverbs 31.  It talks about what a virtuous wife is.  She works and still provides for her family.  She loves her family and loves to provide for that family.  A virtuous wife is my goal.  As a Thirty-One Consultant, I get the question of, is it really worth it.  In my opionion, YES!  While it took a long time for me to go on and become a consultant, it just wasn't the right time for me.  I have been doing this for just a week and a half, and God has blessed me so much!  As I mentioned earlier, I have four parties already scheduled for the month, and am hoping to do the same next month.  My goal right now is to just assist with providing all of our bills for one month!  It would be nice to just do that and not have to depend on my Husband for that for a month.  Now on to the products I have:

I have a skirt purse!  I love that I can take that skirt off and just carry my brown purse, or I can add a little flare by having the skirt on it.  Not to mention the versatility of having the choice of many different patterns to choose from!  In addition to that I have a hang tag that coordinates with my skirt for my purse very nicely.

I also have a large utility tote, organizing utility tote, 3 thermal's, one picknic thermal, a lil's carry all, an extend a tote bag, large zipper pouch, key fob, and wristlet wallet.  I have used all of these multiple times so far and can't find a reason not to like them!  I can't wait to get enough of the large utility totes to have three in each of our closets!

This has been and amazing journey so far and I pray that my journey goes on for many years to come!  If you would like more information, you can see my website:  www.mythirtyone.com/dawncox

I have tried a few times and failed to save this on my computer, so I'm going to try here. The importance of connections

Many times, we don't take the opportunity in life to think about connections. Much like the way legos connect to erect the building or vehicle you are trying to create, without connecting pieces, our lives would fall apart. It's not often that we take time to reflect on those connections in meaningful ways. If I am honest, when we moved from Indiana back to Florida, we didn't appreciate the connections we had and so as I look back I wonder what life would have been like if we'd not only appreciated those connections, but supported them in meaningful ways.  Since moving to Greenville, not only have we made connections, but we've made it a part of life to connect with those people we've met that have become more like family than friends. We took the time to find a church that really believes in connecting with their people and not in a way that makes the patrons of the church feel like they are just a player in the game of chess and that player's job is to be

Workout #27

So, here's the challenge. And above, you can see my entry. Kenzie had done crosswords or circle a words (I can't remember) with Gigi and I snapped a pic of her doing it. I absolutely love the design of the sketch we were supposed to use for this lo. It allows for a simple, yet stunning layout. It allows room for journaling as you can see that I added as well as plenty of negative space! And the breakdown goes like this, picture was taken from my collection, background paper was from k and company the best of k and company pad, the circles were literally just picked out of my scrap box. I didn't even look at the papers, i just did a random pick. the lettering was taken from an old sheet of alphas i had and I think they worked out great!!! Simple yet Stunning! Thank you Scrap Fit for the challenge.
