For Ryan and my 5th wedding anniversary, Mom said she would keep the girls on Friday night and Saturday night (since this was her weekend, she usually keeps them on Saturday nights). We were greatful to have a night without them. We love our girls, but let me tell you, it wasn't until I had a few hours away from them that I realized how much we need that every once in a while. It was great. We decided to go to Applebee's instead of Tumbleweed. While there, they only had one table open and the people next to us were chain smokers, and kept blowing the smoke right at me. I started having issues with that so we requested that they move us to a different table. We ended up at a "bar table". The smoke there wasn't near as bad. We had our dinner, then Maxx came to meet up with us and watch a little of the game. We had a good time just hanging out with Maxx. I only see him once every two weeks at work. We headed home about midnight. I didn't get much sleep that night because I had to be at work at 6a.m. on Saturday, but I wouldn't have wanted to stay home! Anyway, all in all it was a good night. We have decided to take some money and put it behind for one of the projects for the house instead of buying material things for each other for our anniversary this year. And that was our date!
Love,
Dawn
