Kenzie's Family Tree

Today, Kenzie came home bearing a family tree that she had done at school with Mrs. Brittany. Here is a pic.
I thought it was cute. In other news, Aunt Marie (whom I didn't even know was sick) died and I got the news today. I haven't heard from Cousin Roy, but I am sure he is doing ok as he can. Ryan worked... Maddie talked all day! She is too cute. Kenzie did tons of homework. And my foot is still hurting, but not as bad. That is it and please forgive me for being so short today, but I have a few things to do yet tonight.

    I cant wait for Xander to be doing things like that! Its always so fun!! Sorry i havent been in touch alot lately.. things have gotten really crazy. Xanders dad is giving up his rights and the only way to do that is through a step parent adoption.. so Lance and I are getting married Oct. 12 :D we are really excited! Even though its not the date we wanted.. we dont care..as long as he can adopt xander :) we are still doing the reception and all tha tin April though :D


    Sounds like things are pretty good :D i hope your foot is feeling better :)

MEMORY FULL....

So,after not falling asleep until well after 2am this morning, I got up at 8, and got the kids ready, packed the van and we were off to Mom's for Maddie's party.... So, I made sure I didn't forget my camera. That was a major thing... so, we get there and the castle jump was already there. The girls went and got in it right away, I started taking pics. After just 5 pictures, a screen says, Memory Full. I had forgotten my memory card. And since I had to go to walmart for mom anyway, I got a disposable camera to do the party with. So, no pics til I get them developed and then I have to scan them to the desktop so I can then download them here... Long process but you will like the pics (i think). Anyway, I am off. TTYL! Dawn

Workout #27

So, here's the challenge. And above, you can see my entry. Kenzie had done crosswords or circle a words (I can't remember) with Gigi and I snapped a pic of her doing it. I absolutely love the design of the sketch we were supposed to use for this lo. It allows for a simple, yet stunning layout. It allows room for journaling as you can see that I added as well as plenty of negative space! And the breakdown goes like this, picture was taken from my collection, background paper was from k and company the best of k and company pad, the circles were literally just picked out of my scrap box. I didn't even look at the papers, i just did a random pick. the lettering was taken from an old sheet of alphas i had and I think they worked out great!!! Simple yet Stunning! Thank you Scrap Fit for the challenge.
